Temple Stairs is a 4 by 5 foot body-mask - a portrait of a wolf-sphinx - a wearable sculpture that spins in a gallery on a rotary motor. Like the Egyptian Sphinx it acts as a spiritual gateway, a release of the body into a more abstract form - a Temple.
